Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2: UZ, alpha-3: UZB) is assigned the international calling code +998, used when dialing the country from abroad. Its country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) is .uz, the suffix required for locally registered websites. The official currency is the Uzbekistani soʻm (UZS), the standard unit for pricing, banking, and settlement. These identifiers serve distinct practical roles: +998 enables international telephony, .uz domains anchor local web presence, and UZS underpins financial transactions in business and e-commerce. Together, this technical set is essential for connecting with Uzbek partners, registering local digital assets, and conducting monetary operations within the country's market infrastructure.
